Welcome to SACMHA

SACMHA is a charitable organisation established in 1988 in response to the mental health needs of people of African or Caribbean descent. We will also offer support to people form that community in need of assistance because of their age, youth, disability, financial hardship or social disadvantage. SACMHA also recognises the need and role of Carers in its service provision. SACMHA aims to provide a range of culturally appropriate services to both male and female from the age of 18. SACMHA will be responsive to the changing social care needs of the people and communities we serve. In delivering this we provide a range of social and health care facilities, research, information, advice and education, on all aspects of mental and physical health amongst our beneficiaries.
