SACMHA is celebrating its 20th Anniversary!
Sheffield African Caribbean Mental Health Association (SACMHA) was established in 1988 as a result of pressure from African Caribbean carers in the community for a service responsive to their needs and those for whom they were caring.
SACMHA’s main aim is to provide a responsive and culturally sensitive service to African and Caribbean people with mental health needs in a number of settings.
We are an established charity providing support, in Sheffield, for people of African and Caribbean heritage who are experiencing mental ill health.
We are based in Pitsmoor.
Support is provided for people who either live in our supported accommodation or who live in their own home.
We provide the following services:
You can find more information on our Services here.
Both the Offices and the Day Centre facility are based within the SACMHA Resource Centre, and you can find all of our contact details here.
